If you love food, raise your hand.

If you love food, take a stand.

SPOILER ALERT!

University City residents throw out 2,163,668 pounds of edible food every year. That’s right—over two million pounds. While this number is overwhelming, there’s power in realizing it’s made of small things within our control. Potato peels. The last few bites on our plate. Leftovers innocently forgotten in the fridge.

Together, we can drastically reduce this number to help keep money in our wallets and food out of landfills!

Meal plan. Become a food storage master. Compost. Saving food takes a little time but it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy.

We know that even small changes can feel like a pain. But we can do this, together!
